Please gather for Kids Walk for Kids with Cancer, which begins at 1:30.

There will be a brief program which will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m.

To reach the meeting place , enter Central Park at the West 67th Street entrance. Pass through the Tavern on the Green parking lot and cross the West Drive. The meeting place is directly across the Drive just slightly to the north of Tavern on the Green.

Convenient subway stops are: The No. 1 train stops at West 66 Street and Broadway, about two blocks away at Lincoln Center; the B and C trains stop at 72nd Street and Central Park West; and the A, B, C, and No. 1 trains stop at Columbus Circle (West 59th Street and Central Park). There are also several parking lots within a block or two of the West 67th Street entrance to the Park.

The walk itself begins at about 2:20 p.m. Walkers will walk north to 72nd Street and cross the Park to the east side, then head north along the East Drive, and cross back to the West Drive at 102nd Street. Walkers will then walk south and back to the meeting place, where cookies and brownies will be served. The walk path is a little over 4 miles and takes 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours.
